The organisational culture is very open, friendly and welcoming. It is an environment to support academics and ensure job safety and equality to all staffs and students.

To be accepted as a higher degree research (HDR) student you have to have a track record of good academic achievement and a suitable research proposal.

The interview process was fun and made the interviewees feel comfortable. It didn't feel like a usual interview. There were three group interview stages that required you to demonstrate your knowledge of the university and ability to talk in public about yourself.
