A very extensive range of products and a huge work load, including lots of country areas to service and sell to.
Large volumes of stock to display, particualarly with seasonal sell ins.
Learnt a lot of product knowledge, due to regular conferences in Eastern States.
Worked with a small team, and was the group co ordinator, implementing store fit outs and planograms.
The hardest part of the job, was heavy lifting (due to big sell ins) and displaying large volumes of stock (up to 1000+ cartons a day, including working Campbells Warehouse).
The most enjoyable part of the job, was the sense of achievement with sell in targets and big visual displays, which moved the stock thru....therefore allowing a repeat sale.
Also, great feedback and loyalty from customers and being able to give excellent customer service.
Excellent conferences. Great customers. Great country customers.
Long hours, espescially being away for a weekat a time. Heavy lifting.
