Hard work and demanding position

The job it’s good but, the expectations and remuneration doesn’t go together. I worked really hard to bring this facility to become a really well know Place for residents. But the remuneration was not good.

Hard work

Constant entry and exit of workers at all levels. Colleagues good to work with. Fast paced and stressful. Lovely residents. Some micro management. Staff levels somewhat low.

There was no appraisal at all in the workplace

I had worked w Regis at Inala… very very disappointed toward how we were not enough PCA to help the fragile residents, and they were suffer but can’t complained as they were not been able to speak out anymore. The management, in this case the nurses incharge most of them were busy with their own task and duty, they knew only told us off if there was the mistake and never gave any emphatic or care how difficult we were

Institutional Style Care

The care given to residents was task focused, not person focused. There was a lot of time pressure on workers and minimal pay. An unsafe culture is present both through poor management that often understaffed and bullied employees in addition to certain staff members who would neglect aspects of care. Clinical management was good but had limited power and sometimes lacked insight into the issues that staff faced. Lots of education and training was provided with many staff trying their best against difficult circumstances.
