I worked for the Revolution IT Brisbane office for over 1 year as a Consultant and I found that they were placing people in roles that they weren't experienced in.
Their preference seems to be in taking advantage of 457 Visa holders and paying them minimum wage (as little as $20.00 an hour) while charging them out to the Client for $700.00 a day.
They consistently claim that they will be there to support their staff on site but the reality is that they avoid dealing with the Client like the plague.
If you're desperate for a job, go for it. If you're not desperate, find another company...
Not many come to mind
Below average pay, poor morale, poor work / life balance, Management constantly tell their Consultants lies
Testing is only a good role for specific people.
The graduate program had minimal learning on the job that is all self learning. There is no learning about the different types of testing from other testers, unless you get lucky and they sit next to you when you're waiting for work to do.
Revolution IT helped me in getting contracts with RACGP and CHE Proximity within no time. All the clients of Revolution IT provided good workplace culture and scope to learn new technologies and tools.
Working with Revolution IT has been a wonderful experience. They treat contractors just like their permanent staff.Every month they have a catch up meeting with contractors to know their issues and help them where ever possible.
After contract is over, contractors are given priority for new roles. It has been a wonderful journey.
Monthly catchups to discuss issues, Supportive and undertandable management, Contractors are also given priority.
Nice work place with good people and culture. Very good in training resources with new technologies and tools however do not have much clients to place the resources hence this is very challenging to survive.
