Management was ill equipped to handle the staff, considering she hired all of her friends, I can see why. Communication between management to staff was extremely poor, and the workplace environment was extremely filthy, and hazardous. Occupational health would have had a field day! The customers and the job itself was fun, however my experience with this particular store and it’s staff, is one I’d rather forget. If only the regional manager knew what was going on there, but then again they don’t care about their staff, just the money and it’s targets.
Working at rivers there was always something to do that required time effort and detail. The work was never overly challenging but the most rewarding part of it all, making sure the customers left happier then when they came in.
