Tough work for a casual
I worked as a casual ward clerk, meaning I was in a casual pool. Moving all over the hospital and not being part of a team, as well as a lack of support and very limited training made it untenable for me.

Like herding cats
Corrupt and unprofessional management. Human Resources are intolerant and deceptive.Bullying culture. The good staff are used like door mats. No ones held accountable.

Can be rewarding however rarely
Stressful environment. High workload with little recognition. Short staff almost everyday. Managers can be inflexible at times. Poor work/life balance.

Good Team
RNSH has a good team and team leader in each ward to work with, the hospital is quite big with fully resourced services. Everyone is quite helpful and open to offer any assistance.
