9 questions about working at SA Health
Dread it. As a casual, usually end up with a heavy allocation, that causes significant stress. When I ask for help, I’ll get the dismissive “I’m busy too”, from the charge when I have 5 call bells ringing for pain medication that I can’t give on my own, and it will be 2 out of 5 patients that will watch the clock for their dosing times, taking away time from patient care. Then because I’m late with the pain medication, sometimes I will get yelled at for it, and other times I will have someone who is really understanding. But it’s too much for me mentally.
