casual.rehabilitation work can be very heavy. old fashioned culture. Lots of older staff waiting to retire .politics security for staff on.premises outside going from carpark at night could be better,as quite dimly lit.
rosters on casual pool reasonable
Political, routinal, repetitive
Enjoyed the team spirit and encouraging support. Low chance of Permanent role with SA Health though. More job security would be beneficial.Good Opportunity to gain experience as although most of the roles are casual, they often roll over and if a position doesn't get extended there is a high chance of being offered another role in a different department if you are keen.
good team spirit
sometimes bit over competitive as some people feel insecure in their roles
Working with diversified stakeholder network and high contract values with application across the entire organisation and often to different state agencies for which SA Health provides a lead agency sourcing and contract management role
Never again. Bullying and intimidation a daily occurance. Staff work on a class of job system. If you are from out of town you are left on your own.
I volunteer/work experience with the Diversional Therapist. I am learning what ever i can. I would love to work in this area of employment. Staff are friendly and a pleasure to work with.
Great place to learn about the job
SA Health consists of a poor structure of departments, ever-changing and ever-fluctuating and management are bullies and non-concerned with the welfare of their employees. They are supported fully by HR who condone their disgusting behaviour. An organisation divided into too many management styles and not compassionate enough to treat employees with dignity. The executive level don't care about anybody but themselves and their career trajectory, and the rest beg and kiss and wipe the executives rear ends with toilet paper. An organisation that condones bullying and thorough mismanagement of all departments is not deserving of respect.
From the out set excellent job for use of skills growth of skills , real sense of direction and impact and benefits on the ground for the community it serves. beyond centralisation and change of job title completely muted role now unable to use skills or find any growth , personally disappointed with the outcomes for the community it served. looking to move on and find better opportunities.
use of skill greater personal growth than expected
Centralisation and the removal of rural postions in country
