Technical Support Field Service Technician (Current Employee) – perth wa Australia – 3 November 2013
The typical day at work was when we had a broken track frame for the Drill Rig in a Blasting Area. The job was to take two to three days to replace the track frame due to environment in the Pit. We managed to remove the rig from the blast area although the blast delayed for 2 hours. As a supervisor I learnt some thing like in such situation never panic get the co-workers on the table discuss how you are going to do the job , let every one contribute and the make a final decision. The hardest part of the job was when we had to wait for the new frame , it took 2 weeks to arrive to the mine site and the guys from the mining section were on us because they wanted the machine for production. The most enjoyable was when we managed to remove the Drill from the blasting zone safely and mining continued .
