The company is in the habit of focusing on product delivery to the exclusion of much else, like things which in the long run are important such as the quality of the working environment, the social cohesion between staff members, being smart about efficiency, and employee job satisfaction and career progression.
The work culture is highly male dominated, and lacks a social element except amongst particular well-entrenched cliques, which I think makes it a lot harder for women to fit into. Nor is the office environment pleasant or conducive to happy employees who want to be in that space and think creatively about their work.
It is a good place to sharpen your skills in the embedded electronics and machine vision domain, but in the end it will feel like just a job and not a place for fulfillment.
