Relaxing environment, no stress.
But everyone is working hard.
Management is amazing, they always encourage everyone to use their creative side to provide value for the company.

"Interesting" Place to Work
N/A (Former Employee) –  Tempe, AZ15 October 2018
One of my worst experiences in a professional setting. The CEO seems to care about the company and the people within. However, I would take a long hard look at the Sr. leadership in the United States. There seems to be a focus on the "friend helping a friend" advance in their careers and is also largely centered on nepotism. The bad part about it is, HR has been told numerous times and turns a blind eye.
Pros
Good people to work with.
Cons
Sr Leaders and complacency

Large Market Sales Manager (Former Employee) –  Arizona1 May 2018
Equity software company with a good product. Senior management is not involved as much as they need to be, nor are they particularly trustworthy.Competing against more well known players in the industry.

Good job security but lack of respect
Java Developer (Former Employee) –  Calgary12 March 2018
The company is great in terms of job security and benefits. They have stock options as well as profit sharing plans for their employees.

The subject is boring and the technology is quite outdated. Developers are asked to do business analyst's job by writing design documents and gathering requirements.

Their review process is terrible and developers contribute a lot wasn't valued and respected. There is also lack of management and the management group is very cliquey.
Pros
Job Security, Benefit
Cons
Outdated technology, culture and management

Relationship Manager (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB17 February 2018
Salary does not match work expectations. i was there for 3 years and only made 5K more than when I first began. When considering the inflation in Calgary, it was not enough.

It was ok, then terrible
Project Manager (Former Employee) –  600 3 Ave SW Suite 150030 November 2017
Work your face off, and it was good to learn the business. It was interesting to say the least. Very good relationships you create with clients and select few colleagues. Terrible management, they'll ride you and expect a lot from you. They say not to worry about your work compared to others do it to "accomplish a goal". But when you do they find ways to bring you down and focus on the things you lack on.

Solium
Settlements Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB27 November 2017
- Amazing and innovative company (overall)
- Heavy workload in the department I was hired on with. Good work life balance at first. Eventually given project out of my scope/experience/interest and work life became unbalanced.
- Reasonable salary for tasks (given task difficulty).

Company moved
Account Executive - Inside Sales (Former Employee) –  Southfield, MI16 November 2017
Company moved to AZ and left many in a bind. They are a Canadian company, and wanted a straight shot from Calgary to AZ. Simply, the CEO didn't like traveling to Michigan in winter. Stock is worthless.

Transaction Specialist (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB19 October 2016
You learn a lot about equity purchase plans, registered plans, broker services, etc. Great trainer, great co-workers. Very low pay for the responsibilities that you have. Many clients that call in are very rude. Unstable web applications. Managements lacks professionalism. Very unethical and poor communication skills. Not a place to stay for the long term. People come and go like there is no tomorrow.

Office Manager (Former Employee) –  Tempe, AZ26 January 2016
Leadership was more interested in the bottom line than the well being of the team members. Received an excellent yearly review, but when I wanted to leave the organization, I received an unprofessional email from my manager stating she would not give me a reference.

This is a growing company with a lot of issues.
Transaction Specialist (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB1 December 2015
At the beggining I was very pleased with the culture, is relaxed.

Later I realized the Issues that the Co. has and then is when the honeymoon and the marriage ended.

They have a lot of problems with management. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

There was an enormous lack of training and when people made mistakes, they were certainly nailed to the cross or fired.

There is no support or coaching from management and is very frustrating since there is no real processes in place to do your job.

There is a lack of people since the company is growing, but the employee base is not and they cope with temporary people that do a mediocre job at best.

Salary is a big issue, lot of people here complain all the time about the little money they make.

There is a lot of nepotism, so if you are part of the family or friends with it, you will get ahead. The other more capable people is left aside until normally they leave.

It's a shame that a company with that much potential, is so mediocre treating their employees.

I do not recommend this place is a dead end.
Pros
Located in downtown
Cons
Bad Salary, lack of training, Nepotism.
