Casual Sales Assistant in Melbourne VIC
on 27 March 2022
Fun workplace with great coworkers
Always was excited to go to work, clothes are nice enough that you want to wear them and the discount is good enough to afford it. Management was good but head office officials pretty slack, wouldnt let me go home for christmas despite being a domestic student and my manager could cover me. the 'block out' period is not even stated in the contract even though they tell you it does.
Retail Sales Assistant / Retail Store Supervisor in Joondalup WA
on 28 February 2022
Great when I first started
The job was great when I first started - My manager was amazing and then as time went on things changed. I got transferred stores and I quickly learnt once you had done what the company wanted they would treat you like a number again. I care took a store for 3 months and got no extra money for being manager during that time nor did I receive a thank you from the PM at the time. After working there over 3 years I never received a thank you or good luck from the PM. All other girls and management were great except certain individual higher up management.
Group casual in Tweed Heads NSW
on 21 February 2022
No communication between recruitment and store managers
After working at Sports girl as a group casual for about 2 months, I have worked exactly 35 hours. 35 hours over 2 months. During my interview I was assured I’d be receiving at least 10-15 hours a week, and yet there is no work. Why? Over-hiring due to fear of losing workers to covid.Do not become a group casual, they will use you and then forget about you.
