Keeping up with the rules, they change everyday and are dependant on which manager you talk to and what mood their in.
Very fast as we are understaffed, they never have the budget to put more people on and don't call in replacement team members when someone gets sick. Team members often miss their breaks because the lines are so long, especially during COVID-19. The managers do nothing all day and provide no help with customer complaints and questions.
Don't interview here. If you value yourself, your colleges, your mental sanity and kindness.
Spotlight does not care about protecting their customers or their staff. Cleaning and safety protocol and equipment where only implemented after covid was dying down. They removed our improvised barriers and told us we couldn't have barriers because it didn't look welcoming! They forced the entire team to sign new contracts during covid that made us work twice as many days as our normal roster. They told all the casuals that there was no work available and cut their shifts. The following week they hired 5 new casuals!!! Do not work here if you value yourself and your mental sanity, money is not worth the mental hardship you will go through here.
Spotlight has flexible hours and managers are always willing to work with employees to agree on suitable times.
