it's really a hard job but I get very supportive team and learn a lot from this job. Fair enough as no pain no gain. I love this job. SSI team is very friendly and supportive to solve all issues for me.

I Think It's fair for people already has experiences. The staff are friendly. The management is ok but i'm not sure about other hotels. But my hotel is fine.

Unfair payment

Room Attendant (Former Employee) - Meriton waterloo - 31 July 2022

The rooms are massive and do not get paid by the hour but pay by room. You have a limit of time to finish which is not enough and do not get paid for it if you take extra time. They said they would pay but I never got it. No lunchtime even though I work almost 8 hours per day. No benefits, no support, and no teamwork.

Stressful and unresponsive employer

Supervisor (Current Employee) - PARRAMATTA - 26 July 2022

This agency/ employer is not paying the right amount of superannuation contributions. They just include it on payslip but no actual contributions! When they finally made a contribution they just did it in one go but it was much less than the actual computation of what was written on the payslip. One more thing, the supervisor rate and room attendant rate are just a dollar difference.

Retrograde ideas

Hotel Cleaner (Former Employee) - Haymarket NSW - 30 June 2022

It is a recruitment company, which over the phone told me that it would be to work 8 hours a day, but in reality it was not true.They defend retrograde ideas, such as the prohibition of tattoos or the use of beards, but then we are greeted by an interviewer dressed in a tracksuit and sneakers. They defend a formality that they do not apply to themselves.

Never work here

Don’t work here if you don’t have too!!Never paying there staff in time or not at all!!! You work a lot of hours for free as you just get paid each room. Only work here if you have problem with the language and have hard time finding another job.
