Very uninclusive environment. Management talk behind your back but are nice to your face

Workplace culture is non-existent. If you aren't one of managements pets you will get nowhere. They go out of their way to sabotage your stat's, or falsify them to suit themselves and when caught out, say they thought something wasn't working properly with the stat's. But don't give you the correct results.

People on the floor

Honestly,the people that work on the floor is what makes SBD a enjoyable place to work.! As of right now the DM,Supervisors & especially the 2 Mangers are toxic & have no respect for floor staff.. They talk down on the floor staff who are giving it there best,and also the leaders argue amongst each other,blame one another and mostly lie,throwing the few good leaders they have under the bus,when really they can never own there mistakes.. They talk about a family environment and respect but really they don’t follow what they talk about.. They have a record of turn ovas cause the leaders only care about how much they earn and only do what there paid to do,nevertheless… Best part about everyone that has left has gone on to better opportunities,respected at other Jobs by which I have been told by many peoples.

The whole company is bad. Not easy job .Heavy items and safety measures aren’t good and they don’t care. A lot of people have had problems with their arms or legs You’re working extremely hard and no recognition for your work 90-% of islanders work there.

Kept me fit unloading containers..really good workets and staff,very helpful at all times.hours of work were good.Well equipped smoko room with all amenities including table tennis

AWESOME company,and lovely people to work with,I have work at stanley black and decker,and they lost my job during this lockdown,I am hopping that I have a chance to work there again,will good if I get a job at stanley black and decker

Very polite people to work with

Very polite company to work for, but their clicks make it hard to feel like being part of the group. As a temp they do not allow access to all area's that is required for your job to be complete. Always had to wait for some one else to give me work.

A typical day was processing warranty claims, ordering new tools on the DC warehouse. Arranging collection of tools through StarTrack online returned under warranty or for repair and packing repaired tools for delivery by Toll Express booked online.

Wouldn't recommend working there

They have one of the highest turnover rates of workers I have ever seen, because if you don't do what they tell you, you're out the door.
Management is a joke and have verbally abused workers. Worse place I have ever worked.

the worlds largest tool company with fantic house name products like Black and Decker, Stanley and Dewalt. Nobody ever faults the products. Great culture and opportunities for advancemant.

Work was long hours

I travelled the whole state of WA because I was the single guy. Long days, long hours and long weeks. Would of been nice to be appreciated. Would of been good to be rewarded for the great work I did.

Very disorganised, highly stressful due to incompetent management

several staff members are usually stressed out when they get to work for the day due to poor management and organisation of daily tasks.
I learned that there needs to be significant changes through middle management to retain staff.
I can't speak highly enough of my co workers, they are the reason I go to work everyday.
the hardest part of my job is dealing with people that have been with the company longer than myself and are still unsure of what they're doing.
