#tobeapartner – who are we?
Being a Starbucks partner means having the opportunity to be something more than an employee.
We like to think of each other as ‘framily’; friends who become just like family. We support each other, learn from each other and grow together.
We celebrate coffee and the origin of our beans daily, starting the day with a coffee tasting, and a delicious food pairing.
We love to share this with our customers too; stories of our different growing regions, the opportunity to experience our different roasts and flavours, and discover new and exciting ways of brewing.
We love our brand
We love what we do! Together we are building teams and a culture where partners want to come to work every day to connect with each other and their customers. Our partners are at the heart of our brand and when our partners are having a great time, our customers experience that too.
Of course, coming to work is not just about having fun, we all have a role to play in creating a high performance culture underpinned by creating exceptional experiences for our customers. Our partners are passionate about our brand, our coffee and of course each other and this comes through in every connection we make with our customers.
As a growing brand we are creating opportunities for partners to grow with us. From barista to barista trainer, coffee master to national barista champion, shift supervisor to store manager, there is an opportunity for all of us to grow.
These are just some of the reasons we love our brand.
Our Partner Promise
When you join Starbucks and put on our iconic green apron, you are joining a diverse group of partners who are committed to being their best self and making a difference to each other and their community.
Each one of us plays a part in the success of our brand and regardless of position or title, we are as important as each other.
When we talk to our Partners these are some of the things they say:
“I believe in our values and purpose” “We put the customers first” “Everyone matters at Starbucks”
“Starbucks is our happy place” “I love working at Starbucks”

You don't now how your day will be. You could get the some order all day long if a new Starbucks trend is going viral or you get a order you never heard of. But after all it was a good experience
Starbucks is fine. I imagine corporate jobs there would be better but working in store is hard. Very little work/life balance which I suppose is a part of shift work but they really make Starbucks your whole life.
It was very entertaining. I enjoyed it but there needs to be more improvements made. yes, it is quite fun, but it is not the best place i have worked at in my life before. but yes.
The environment was good at the beginning. I worked with some amazing people and management but slowly it all began to crumble. A new person was hired who turned out to harrass other store members in multiple ways and talk about inappropriate stuff such as bedroom life to people 10 years younger than them who are fresh adults, when concerns risen at first was meant to be dealt with then management changed and they did not resolve one issue, instead choosing to believe someone who was pushing everyone away rather then listening to the people who were being hurt emotionally. This was just the experience at the store I was at and upon requests to move as I loved the company, they were denied despite it being for mental health. Majority of Starbucks higher ups do not care for your mental health and if you try to raise a concern be prepared to have to seek external help.
The people and customers are very nice to work with. I don't have a single complaint, everyone's so nice and they push you to do your best I seriously love it!
