Supervisors and management dont care about their workers and put workers in unsafe and unmanageable work conditions. 55 pallets a day at 5 to 10 mins per pallet. Short staffed all the time and still expect the same workload from less workers

Fast paced supportive workplace

Worked in the main factory . Production line work so no time to slack but excellent supervisors and managers always made you feel valued. Work was sometimes repetitive but work in other areas was available. Lots of overtime if you wanted it. Very good pay rates and company encouraged everyone to upskill and apply for supervisory rolls.

I learnt that unless you are willing to turn a blind eye to metal mould plastic and yes even a bandaid in products you will be fine, speak up tell the truth and have a voice, your out the door. The culture DOC are absolutely deplorable!!!!! Higher Management do not care about the issues on the floor, and tend to bed as many workers as they can, and actually make a competition out of it. Company is fully run by incompetent staff and unless you sleep suck or swallow you get no,where.

it was such a fast pace at all times, had to get permission to go to the toilet, management didn't seem to credit or value there really good workers. Such long hours, and would ask you at the last minute if t you can stay back for an hour, then when you are committed, it can end up another 4 hours in over time.

I worked in the packing section where i packaged bulk frozen chicken . A peice of chicken fell off the machinery & hit me in the face, knocking me out. After a week of returnng 2 work, complaining of numbness in my face i went to the docs only to find my eye socket was fractured and the nerve damaged along with damage to my jaw! 2 operations, and 2 yrs later...havnt heard from them!? I

its not easy to debone 6 thighs a minute but with practice and determination its possible. if anything is to happen at work go straight to a supervisor as its the duty to eep you safe

a typical day a work is to get the job done I know the process of catching chickens, the people running the job make it easy for learning there fore the working environment is a good place. the hardest bit of my job is the smell but I am able to overcome it, and the most enjoyable the job is meeting new people and traveling to and from different farms
