Fun to work at
It’s fun to work at until your a woman getting yelled at by men because you “don’t know anything”. No one wants to sign up to club memberships or be asked multiple times a day. Management gets angry if you don’t sign up at least 10 people a day. But hard to do when you live in a small town where everyone is a member

Customers were awful. Some team members were great. others were very unsupportive.
Some highlights from my time at Supercheap:-Manager responded to my request to finish an hour earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays by giving me dirty looks all day and cutting my hours back to pretty much nothing. Would proclaim "tHiS iS a SeVeN dAy BuSiNeSs" meanwhile I can count on one hand the number of times I saw them come in on the weekend. -That same Manager decided I was taking too much leave, so she informed me that she was not going to approve any more leave from now until the end of eternity (as you can tell, very mature adult)-Training completely stalled, and I was not signed off to change bulbs or wipers after 6 months of being there. -On my last shift, I was screamed at by an elderly couple over brake pads. Several senior team members were watching and listening and did nothing to help. And did not step in and intervene or help me in any way. Only when I finally had enough and told them to leave (in a very vulgar manner) did my co-workers jump up and step in. -the pay was awful. Nowhere near enough for the things we all endured.

Toxic management.
Been working for supercheap for a long time, back when it was good and fun. Now the management have no clue about their stores, too focused on kpi's and they don't care about their team members. We are just a number to them

Waste of time
If you're looking to work for an Aussie company and learn about cars (or anything) go get yourself a job at Autobarn. Most store managers at Supercheap Auto are more interested in keeping their job than doing the right thing.

Unfair underpaid workplace
Supercheap auto is everything but automotive management treat team members like they are worthless and there is no recognition for team members don’t recommend working at Supercheap Auto
