Great place to work initially, later years were not so good.

When I started with Swinburne I felt like I had gotten lucky to be in a position where I could apply my energy and knowledge and continue developing my skills under solid management. I made many great friends along the way and gained invaluable experience. However, budget cuts, changes to management and widespread job insecurity in the last couple of years convinced me that it was time to move on.

My Personal Review is, that Swinburne University was an excellent company to work for and the staff were very professional and helpful the facilities were of a very high standard. The most enjoyable part of my Job was of-course Teaching my Students even though they could be a bit unruly at times I just put it down to youthfully exuberance. I enjoyed the time that I spent with them and will miss them all. As far as Management all I can say is that Swinburne Uni ran Automotive for over 70 years and now that is all finished !!!
