I have managed to cultivate a great work environment within my small team, but the lack of support and guidance from my director and the lack of orientation provided at the beginning has really set up the overall work place to be rather unsupported and toxic.

Good culture at Concord and staff are well supported by management in AC&R, however low pay typical of health. Training and development opportunities, great work location and beautiful new build.

There are a lot of opportunities to do more work with expenses involved. The costs outweigh the benefits.Great to get work experience, if you need experience. Time management skills and fast work techniques are a benefit while working there.

Stressful, toxic working environment

Bullying is not recognized by the Human Resources Department and they will always back supervisors over subordinate staff. Toxic working environment where your safety is considered as irrelevant.

The worst place to work

Mandatory overtime, you refuse , you done. String culture I’d bullying and abuse . Poor Management , very abusive senior staff , junior medical officers are considered as slaves

Sydney Local Health District

Admin Officer (Current Employee) - Camperdown NSW - 11 May 2020

There are seven facilities within the District including three major metropolitan hospitals. Experience in the role really depends on what kind or worker you are e.g. nurse, doctor, admin and what your manager is like. Executive does a good job, and shares the same challenges of budget and political constraints, as other health districts.

Releasing Clerk (Former Employee) - NSW - 20 March 2017

It was fun working with SLHD - Concord Hospital. Lot of learning and meeting people at all levels, very professional environment. It was experiential journey of being an employee to the Supply department. The management was very supportive and welcoming.
