I loved working at tnt and miss it if I got the chance I would work there again the high pay with non stressful work place with set jobs always leaves you with stuff to do so you never get bored and the team members treat you like family
Good people good money
Great company to work for and many inspiring people to learn from and you have to seek them out if you want to succeed here. High turnover in the key account space, particularly BDM team. Sales targets set not aligned with operational network capacity and profitability constraints. Very process driven environment, lots of administrative work which at times lacks purpose/functionality and often requires work outside normal hours to maintain. Silos operating between departments can negatively impact best outcomes for customers. Sales team as a whole organised by customer spend level and considerable internal infighting amongst sales and account management leadership over revenue and customer ownership combined with inconsistently applied policies by management to decide outcomes can make the task of selling transport solutions more complicated than you could perhaps imagine. No annual leave loading and poor base salary relative to competitors in the market.
Now owned by FedEx
Very high turnover of BD staff in small team makes it challenging to achieve team revenue targets

Jobs at TNT
the job was in red bank so I travelled quite a bit. I learnt quite a bit about the transport industry and how it works. the worker were great, got along with everyone and had a great time work there but dew to the distance travelling I had to leave.
a lot of over time so more money
got too hot in the trailers
although helping people eventually find there freight was rewarding it was a very demanding job that required a lot from you but gave you nothing back. the work environment wasn't the greatest and the moral between the teams wasn't ideal. as we were separated into 3 support teams there was a lot of hate and stand off-ish words and actions towards each team.
not a lot of praise
The work environment is reasonable but high pressure. I learned to manage my time and customers. Management and Co Workers were no problem yet the job was rather stressful due to hours and a limited ability to gain work life balance. The difficult part of the job was dealing with driving 10-12 hrs a day with early starts and late finishes. The enjoyable part of the job was no weekend work.
Long Hours, Stressful
good if left alone to do job at hand .organisation is a must,no one wanted to listen, good mob of people, getting the time to do every they wanted done, there time planning was terrible, best thing getting out there with the customers
income protection, pennalty rates
unrealistic times to do job at hand
I was a driver at TNT for a couple of years. The pay was quite good, although the hours are long. Not unusual to work 12 hour days. Management often has a hard time seeing things from the drivers' point of view. But if you do the right thing they will generally listen to you. They never try to intimidate their drivers and were very approachable.
