Sales Associate (Current Employee) – Evanston, IL – 20 August 2019
Working in the backroom was exhausting. You would unload the truck of products and push them out to the floor along with receiving vendors, and receiving pickup orders. You would also help out other staff members on the floor along with guests who need help to find a product in the backroom location. The hardest part of the job is that you are doing everything at once. Especially at a smaller store, your bound to put in a lot of work for little pay and it could take over your free time to do anything else for yourself. Also the biggest issue is communication between managers and staff. One manager can tell you to help out in a certain business area while another manager tells you to help out with guest service. There is absolutely no communication between managers on what team members are working on in the store which provides confusion and frustration to the team members on how to provide a better service for our guests.
The team members get along well
No communication between team members and leaders.
