Got to get really good managers to work with Managers are mostly partial with team members Employee assessment and ratings are not good or you can say, completely manager specific Inaccessible HR team and poor response to mails, sometimes no response at all

My job operations includes: Engage with the business area to elicit, capture, priorities and manage business requirements. Produce the Business Requirements Definition documentation and/or Project Definition Document and any other relevant documentation. Responsible for obtaining business signoff of the functional requirements and working with the Systems Analyst and Development team, providing input to the technical requirements definition and low level technical design where required.

Too much politics and nepotism

Pros - * Work life balance * Job security. Cons - * Too much politics and favourtism. * Nepotism - Only those with good contacts are given onsite opportunities, promotion, good projects etc. * Not much career growth options for experienced associates. Only option available to them is people management. * Compensation below market rates.

Poor management of projects often making people work according to their offshore teams for long hours. So you start your day as per Aus work hours and actually end up in India work hours.

I have developed myself tremendously in the company and have been very content with my professional development.I learnt many new technologies, tools, AGILE methodology, change management etc. which I thoroughly enjoyed and Qantas being my client currently has been great work culture.

Ideal workspace to shape up your career

The work on any typical day is always a continual learning process with new challenges each and every day. The company provides a vast platform to choose your career and develop your skills. The company hierarchical chart is devised in such a way that you are provided with mentors to groom yourself and also they being approachable easily. The fun part is that when you are struck up with some strange issues where you are a master in that, once you actually resolve those issues, it becomes a learning again. While doing so, the help rendered by the co-workers also is commendable.

Worked for 9 years. Great promotions. Great role. Left for better pay.Work-life balance depends on the project. Management focus in on cost cutting. Middle management is better. Co-workers are friendly.

* Good opportunities for skills growth sometimes. * Learned a lot related to SDLC, Agile, pressure handling, etc other than technical skills. * Sometimes long hours had to be given to compensate for co-workers absence in a project.
