Fun and inclusive workplace
You'll meet some friends for life working in a call centre, however, if you're looking for career progression you're unlikely to find it here. The sales pressure is hard, you never feel like you're putting the customer first despite the company values. In saying that, you'll develop lots of transferable skills through your nominal role and secondment offers if you choose to pursue themThe culture and celebrations are a pleasure to be apart of, with people from all walks of life and experience. Everyone is so incredibly accepting of each other. Its a great place to work to get some experience or use as a "stepping stone" in your career.

Lack of Respect by management
this company has no respect for staff one example is that one year I was told that I did not exist as a member of staff and that was incorrect we got our pay rise backdated but no apology from management for dishonest conduct

Nope!
My mental health got very bad working within Telstra. The constant pressure on stats and prompting surveys. My TL would listen to all calls and would come back with all the things I done wrong. Didn't help that 99% of people calling Telstra are not in the best mood. Like you want to be prompting a survey when you haven't even fixed customers problem..... they expect you too! It's ridicolous. It's put me off call centers for life and working from home!!!

Highly supportive, flexible with bucketloads of opportunities
Innovative, exciting and plenty of space to grow and learn. Supportive and sensible management focused on your professional growth. Incredible flexibility and support even pre covid. You are encouraged to own your self development and then supported in your goals.
