Terex Corporation is a global maker of equipment used by a range of industries, including construction, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, quarrying, refining, shipping, transportation and utilities. Its major product lines include cranes, aerial platforms, material handling and processing and port solutions. Terex also has a line of financial – more... products to assist with the purchase of its equipment. The company started as a division of General Motors but was spun out after a 1968 court ruling. Terex manages a number of notable brands, including Demag, Genie and Powerscreen.

Employees at Terex enjoy a 5 percent corporate match for 401(k) retirement plan contributions and annual performance bonuses. Health insurance is heavily subsidized by the company. It also offers modified work schedules where employees work four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day.
