The most useful review selected by IndeedThe fast-paced environment where they thrive on ever-changing principles. The only problem is sometimes they move to fast without thinking about the repercussions. Also, their leadership is forever changing with little to no warning, which causes constant spin from the top down. The corporate office is cool and they are always expanding. If this is your first corporate role go for it, you'll learn a lot and be across so much. My only advice is don't get comfortable.

The owner isn't the best leader, a lot of spin and longgggg hours!!

Great environment to work in with beautiful offices

It is a great culture that supports you to be great at your job.They talk a lot of wellness and health, only about 50% of the team are truly doing this but it was changing. The head of the company truly care about the customer and the teams

Learnt proper work life balance. Great group of Management eager to help. left Cotton On due to amount of travel to an from work
Travel was the hardest part. Most enjoyable was the ability to express yourself and knowing your opinion counted.

Great culture

Cotton On is a fantastic place to work as the business values its people above anything else.
This is a truly global business which can advance any career purely through the scale of the business.
Like they say....start here, go anywhere!!

Free gym, great people, great food and loads of parking.

Its a long drive.......but worth it!!

the pay is alright and they normally pay you right, but if your not working for Cotton On as a full time you get no benefits and get treated different and worst, work is not consisted unless its peak period, they hire way to many casuals that they cant supply with work...

Fast paced environment with lots of fun, like minded people

Terrible management

Terrible management who didn't care about employees. No work/life balance. Always cutting shifts last minute. Bullied by management at Typo. Always walking on eggshells when management was around.

exciting and challenging, extremely tight on budgeting

a great company with good values. creates a positive and healthy work environment and staff development.
in distribution however, the fast pace and the assurance of customer satisfaction (retail) was maintained to it's best possible results, was done on a tight and sometimes not so realistic level.
overall an enjoyable experience but not so good for me with a work/life balance, as I would always want to stay till I finished the day.

long days between 10 and 14 hrs usually.

Cotton On is a fantastic retailer to work for! Words that come to mind when I think of Cotton On include fun, energetic, supportive, endless opportunities, dream big and exciting!
No day is the same and there are very few workplaces that have so many employees walking in the door with a big smile on their face every Monday morning!
Having worked for other retailers and big, global organisations, I can honestly say there are very few companies like Cotton On and I feel so lucky to be apart of such a great working team!

Hard working environment

Very physical workplace. Fast paced and very dusty. I learned how to work in a wear house, how to use an RF scanner and how to do stock take.
