Sales Assisstant (Current Employee) –  West Perth WA19 March 2018
Everyone there is so lovely and so great to work with. The managers are so great, and allow you to be flexible with hours. Unfortunately there are many hours available so this is a good job to have while your studying but probably not good if you need full time hours.

Cotton On is a fantastic place to work as the business values its people above anything else.
This is a truly global business which can advance any career purely through the scale of the business.
Like they say....start here, go anywhere!!
Pros
Free gym, great people, great food and loads of parking.
Cons
Its a long drive.......but worth it!!

Good pay and Poor managment
Retails Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Hoppers Crossing VIC31 January 2018
I was given few hours and had to really fight for the rest of them on a facebook page nonetheless. The pay was decent and they had good communication with staff but as I said, they will not give you the shifts you expect and it is definitely not enough to pay your way without another job. Very inflexible with the shifts they give you and it was just never enough. Had to jump through a lot of hoops to eventually get a job here and wasnt worth it if you're looking for something and not just a shirt term job to gain experience. You have to wear their clothes as part of the branding but the 50% discount literally kept me going.
Pros
discount
Cons
bad shifts, bad management

Table tennis table, 20 minute smoko, 30 minute unpaided break, not consisted work
Casual Worker (Current Employee) –  Geelong VIC9 January 2018
the pay is alright and they normally pay you right, but if your not working for Cotton On as a full time you get no benefits and get treated different and worst, work is not consisted unless its peak period, they hire way to many casuals that they cant supply with work...
Pros
if you get fulltime you get treated well
Cons
if your casual you get no benefits, and there is to many casuals for them to supply everyone work

Christmas Casual Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Rouse Hill NSW7 January 2018
A day at work consisted of greeting customers, cleaning the store, have fun with kids and sales. I learnt how to help customers with what they needed and how to do mark downs. The hardest part of the job was having to rack up the store while still greeting and helping customers. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to have fun with the little kids.
Pros
Fun with little kids, salary
Cons
Continuous folding

pretty boring job tbh. not for those who always wants something to do. Maybe location defers to how busy the store can be but most of the time, if there is no customers, theres not really much to do. Good for a first job and has a great staff discount.

productive workplace where an A game is always needed
Senior Sales Assistant (Current Employee) –  Melbourne VIC25 February 2017
a day at work is a day you must be on your A game, customer service skills are essential as well as focusing on the input and output of stock. I've learnt a lot about working for the company in relation to meeting different and diverse people, from knowing the benefits of a LP manger to a Visual merchandiser. The culture within the workplace is homely and welcoming, I'm friends with each and every single person I work with and we are all on the same level. The hardest part about my job? hmm, that's a difficult question to answer as I love working in retail so I find nothing to be challenging. The most enjoyable part is serving customers, seeing how happy it makes them when a sales assistant takes the time out to help an individual.
Pros
customers
Cons
lifting boxes

CASUAL SALES ASSISTANT (Current Employee) –  Mackay QLD18 February 2017
Great positive atmosphere within all stores that form the Cotton On Group. Management is amazing and do their best to ensure that balance is maintained between your social and work life. They offer amazing benefits for being an employee and all they ask in return is for your 100% effort in the workplace.
