Good place to get some teaching experience
Associate I Instructor (Former Employee) - Toledo, OH - 29 May 2019
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI enjoyed teaching at TLC. It was challenging learning how to plan for 5 hours of instruction every day, especially since we had so many objectives to teach in a 4 week session so organizational skills are a must for this job. Don't expect to ever make much money or to be promoted to higher positions, so I wouldn't look at TLC as a good place for a lifelong career, but again it's a great place to get some experience under your belt.
Pros
4 day weekend every 4 weeks, the students
Cons
unpaid lunch, short breaks, low pay, the students

Not bad, but unstable enrollment
Full-time classroom instructor (Current Employee) - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX - 26 March 2018
I love working here -- I really have no complaints, except the pay isn't great and the enrollment fluctuates. I wonder what manner of sales initiatives the company really utilizes. The students are from all over and I love that they are usually motivated.
