Really fun work but not paid enough.

Events Centre is a paradise for people who are looking for extra engagement with staff and guests. You work for different events every roster so every day feels like the first day. My only complaints are the rosters are really inconsistent and the unsatisfactory pay rate. Other than that, great workplace environment and amazing team.

Great people to work with, but management is not so good.

You make real life long friends here. Makes working not so bad. But then there's management who lost their touch with staff and only think about cutting costs.

Free food and light rail

It is a good place to work and earn decent money compared to other venues out there. You can make a lot of tips in a day. The bad thing is that there are overnight shifts in some venues and you need to be ready to do them

The star

Was a great place to work and there was a lot of pride working there. There are so many who would like to join the star. Looks after staff well. I had a great time working for 11 years. Training was extremely good and there was always a positive vibe.

Somewhat enjoyable workplace.

Most enjoyable part is the diversity of people you meet, plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Management can be a joke at times. Pretty stressful work environment, although the pay rate is good.
