easy job over all, one thing to keep in mind is do not take customer's anger personally. One good thing is you get to work with different people everyday, and some of them might been there for ages but you never seen them around.

Pros

free meals

Cons

shift work

Fun place to work

Be a team player. Plenty of different departments.Lots of possibilities for promotion. Hours are 24/7. They have lots of in house traing. Even cross training in other departments. Learning new tables games and promotion to supervisor position. 5 weeks annual leave.

Pros

Free lunch and parking on site at a discounted rate

I jointed the star at 2016, it was one of my dream that to become a table game dealer, it is a job with fun, the star is a world class leading business and it was a great chance that I can work there,

Fun and unique

Great place to work while studying or looking for night work. Great staff benefits and awesome way to meet new and interesting people. Good pay and location for transport.

Great perks and management

Fabulous place to work at. Management are very professional and follow correct protocol. News is not always communicated and passed on efficiently which does make it difficult if you are casual and only work a few days a week and therefore not been updated on changes and events.

F&B attendant

Great opportunity for someone to join the hotel industry if you are interested in pursuing a career helping customers. Learn to deliver 5 star service.

nice eat street

Like other IT organizations, the STAR IT is getting funnier, no idea what has happened in this world. IT is not that a serious business anymore as used to be. No one shows respect to IT; IT itself makes things worse. If to blame, it should blame to those 'expertise'. When gold and sand mixed, the real gold has to go to the bottom.

Exciting and fun

It's a fun place to work, but has limited career opportunities and creates a narrowed focus on business. The team environment is excellent, and you'll create friends for life. If you enjoy the gaming industry, it's the perfect environment.

Pros

Free lunch, uniforms cleaned, discounted city parking.

Cons

High pressured environment, LONG shift-work hours, heavy regulation

Iconic Place (Gambling, Hotels & Night Club with different events venues)

Working at The Star is something different compared to other places. It has polished my customer service skills more than before & have more experience in situation handling.

Pros

Cons

Great Pay

The pay is amazing however, due to being a 24/7 business, its hard to have a balanced work/life balance. Especially on Christmas and New Years. There is also a block out period around Christmas where you can't take leave from work, without special confirmation from management.

Pros

Free lunch, good pay, uniform provided, dry cleaning provided

Cons

24/7 availability, no time off at Christmas

Cons

Don't care about the staffs

Working as a security . Pay is not good but take all the pressure from them . Shift work They don't care about people who travelling from far , just give 4 hrs shift , but when they recruit they promise to give you 8 hr or 12 hr shift a day . Sometime u don't get break but if u late for 2 to 3 min to go to the door , the supervisor scream and shout at you but they don't care about our break . Bad bad nd bad don't even think to get a job here

Pros

Terrible supervisors

Cons

Less hr nd Long travel to work

Boys club

I feel like this company should be used on the set of Mad Men, it is such a dated environment and ultimate boys club. And the way everything is managed is atrocious. This place makes money in spite of itself.

Pros

Free lunchs

Cons

Morale

Good environment when I worked there 7+ years ago

Good team focus and culture but at time a bit "blokey" and bit too much of a locker room. Fun and varied when working on the frontline but profit driven when you move in managment.

Pros

Free meals, uniform

Cons

Profit driven
