Busy steady employment
Truck Driver/Labourer (Current Employee) - Canning Vale WA - 20 June 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedFull time drivers now replaced with sub contractors. Which is a pity , I thought I could work there until I was 70 , I was wrong . I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at tip top however all full time drivers days are numbered. I need to work for another 20 years, I think tip top will have got rid of their full time truck drivers within 5 years

Unrealistic Timeframes For Heavy Workloads
Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Dry Creek SA - 4 October 2022
No matter how hard you work you will not succeed with the unrealistic timeframes that are demanded from you. 4 stores in 3 hours. The Managers do not take into consideration the travelling time between stores. Traffic on the road. 360 units of Bakery products to unpack is equivalent to 1 hour of work. It is not uncommon for big busy supermarkets to have up to 700 units or more each day to unpack. When the work loads are that heavy, and demanding you can never be in and out of a store within an hour, and then back on the road again. The Managers can be rude, and very demanding. They forget you have 1 pair of hands, and 1 set of feet. Unrealistic.

TIP TOP is true, Australian iconic, food brand with Safe Environment.
Production Operator (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 7 April 2020
The normal day starts with wearing company's uniform as well as all the required PPE and following safe work practice. Before entering the area washing hands and sanitizing is the first main priorities followed by all the workers. All the workers from different department work collaboratively to meet the production demand. During work all the safety and GMP norms are followed by every individual on site. QC, OH&S inspections are been taken twice a day during each shift. 15-20 minutes, 2 breaks and lunch are provied to each individual during working hours . Management works with production and other department to carry out orders, workplace safety, First-Aid, General product Inspection, Maintenance, operation permits and man-management. The challenging part of the job is to keep the operation running smoothly considering all the pros and cons of the process with zero accident policy. I love my job as it is multi-tasking and needs lot of capability, Stamina, and concentration to conduct different parameters at same time to meet the production goals.

not too bad
Team Leader/supervisor (Former Employee) - production - 21 March 2020
good work life ballance but weekends are sacrificed due to supply demand. Very generous with rest breaks, tv and computers in lunch room for staff to use and watch. There is a lot of back stabbing and 2 faced staff members, this includes some managment also. Salary is ok,, could be better but there is opertunity to get regular OT at double time rate.
Pros
not dificult work, plenty of breaks.
Cons
middle managment take care of their own too much, have to be in tbe clicky group to get ahead. Hot work in summer.

productive skill friendly work place
process work (Former Employee) - Macleod SA - 9 March 2020
if there is a one day over time work that would make your every day spending easier. Learns how to organize yourself in the Fast Paced Production lines. Some of the machines are hard to operate and the most enjoyable moment for everyone is at the end of the day if no/ not much waste.

did not enjoy working for Tip Top
Machine Operator (Former Employee) - Slacks Creek QLD - 13 November 2018
there is a great divide between the male and female roles. women are put into rolls by management in a way to keep the female/male roles equal but what happens on the factory floor is a totally different to what i think management would like to portray.
Pros
good money when you get the shifts
Cons
poor staff moral
