They have fair compensation. The organizational culture has strong commitment to rules and procedures, but it sometimes limits opportunities for creativity.

Toyota supply chain

I have been fortunate in having worked in diverse roles that have been highly engaging and encouraged team work with great people. I have worked with most of the Plants onsite and also many suppliers both locally and overseas. I have managed service provider and have gained experience in both import and export container movement. I have gained a full understanding of the entire Material movement process from Planning, Procurement, and Logistics.

Pros

Good Place to work

Good Place to work. The company gives us opportunity to learn different jobs, good communication with leaders and team members, safety is number one, team work, respect each other, quality. The challenges One of the biggest challenge in Toyota was when the company speed up the line and didn't increase the team members.

A good brand

Good brand, below average company culture at Toyota Australia. Terrible leadership with limited vision. Great opportunities squandered by bureaucracy and procrastination, resulting in declining market share.

It is the people that make the difference

It is the people at Toyota that make the difference, not the budget. The selfless people at Toyota Sales and Marketing based in Caringbah have the right balance of getting the results achieving a healthy work life balance, the rewards and recognition may not be apparent all of the time however, the mindset of not letting your team mates down is always there.
