productive, fun workplace.
parts and service (Former Employee) - Castle Hill NSW - 11 June 2020
While working at Toyota, I would help unload the truck full of delivered parts and organising them in there dedicated spaces. I would also walk them down to the pre-delivery department. At times, the mechanics will come to the window and request for a specific part to be delivered, so i would use the computer to order parts. Overall, they were all very welcoming and lovely people and the job is easy to pick up.

Jobs at Toyota
sometimes its a very stressful job
Welder/Team Member (Former Employee) - Altona VIC - 17 February 2020
Its a fast pace production line but with helping each other we can keep on track i learn about brain storming to solve the problem any idea is welcome even it sound ridiculous its still an idea.The hardest part of the job is when there's no enough people to work for overtime and we have to work extra hours and the most enjoyable part is when we get together if we don't have work during week end or public holiday

I worked as a contractor during projects
Senior Mechanical Designer (Former Employee) - Altona VIC - 15 November 2019
I started at Toyota in 2000 at Port Melbourne and later in Altona as a contractor in engineering design for manufacturing motor cars. I thoroughly enjoyed my work there as a team member in new building design and equipment fitout for new model Camry. I was treated like a staff person and was called back there to work there on many projects over the 8 years.

Safety was highest priority and efficiency was high priority
Maintenance 'Electrical -Mechanic' 'A' Grade (Former Employee) - Altona VIC - 1 September 2019
The Company had a good working environment. The job was competitive and we had to keep up with technology.
Toyota was always improving the machinery and introducing new technologies. The benefits of new technology were five fold.
It improved efficiency;
made the work easier for the production workers;
made the operation safe for all users;
made the vehicles more reliable;and
gave me, the electrical maintenance person, exposure to new technologies.
A real great place to work in. Toyota is simply the best.
Toyota Motor Corporation believed in continuous improvement and the Japanese word for continuous improvement is KAIZEN.
Toyota Motor Corporation also believed in SAFETY in the workplace.
The Japanese word for safety is ANZEN.
I am a Kaizen and ANZEN person.
