It was awesome to work there. The staff there are amazing, you can get stuck on some rough calls but with the support staff there it make it an easy place to work

The Sun Never Sets on Trustwave
Director of Human Resources (Current Employee) –  Chicago, IL11 June 2019
Great global company, colleagues in 30 countries, interesting and innovative work. No micro managing - very collaborative and trusting environment. Recently completed the merging of two cyber security entities from its parent company into the Trustwave brand - has been complex and and challenging, but has bought in a wealth of new ideas and innovation into the company as we continue to grow as an international leader in cyber security.

Support Analyst (Current Employee) –  Chicago, IL8 March 2019
This company is failing. They only hire contract workers and then extend the time frame for becoming a permanent. They pay lower than industry standard and the vacation package is a joke.

Trustwave can be good
Business Development Executive (Current Employee) –  Eden Prairie, MN8 March 2019
Trustwave can be a good company. They are going thru an organizational structure at this time so the jobs functions are still be working out. Prior to that my department was very good in their focus and was a pleasant place to work at. My direct managers were very helpful in getting what we need and focus.

Transitioning Company
Middle Management (Current Employee) –  USA20 November 2018
The over all vision of the company is a good one, but may lack execution. As the company tries to expand it's worldwide foot print, it is ultimately hurting it's US roots. Executive Management is not in tune with middle management which causes a lack of efficiency.

Great people, but company has growing pains
Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, IL14 October 2018
Sales positions are underpaid, the compensation plans are not realistic or appropriate for cost of living. Management is rarely communicated with by higher ups before an announcement. There are no processes in place for new changes to prepare teams or employees. If not for the awesome people I would have left sooner.
Pros
Happy hours
Cons
pay, compensation, lack of communication

Global Client Cyber Success Advocate (Current Employee) –  Chicago, IL3 October 2018
No one seems to know what other people do or where to go for help. No one wants to take responsibility for issues, other departments are always blamed.

What more can you expect in security operations
Security Analyst, Managed Security Services (Former Employee) –  Greenwood Village, CO3 September 2018
No privacy from coworkers. Non-stop phone calls.

Typical security operations experience. 15 minute expected resolution times with multiple customers on hold.

Little for no gratitude for meeting call and resolution metrics from management.

Innovative Company with many perks, but still working out kinks in rapidly growing business
Corporate In-House Counsel (Consultant) (Former Employee) –  Chicago, IL31 July 2018
Company is rapidly growing here and across our borders in the EU, LAT and Asia. Lots of opportunity for employment, especially if you are willing to travel or put in extra effort. Business casual environment with Company provided kitchen, ping pong table and activities. Exciting time in the data security industry.

Take care of employees and prioritize training over politics.
Security Engineer (Former Employee) –  Remote6 July 2018
Terrible practices and disgusting culture. They focus more in how you get along with the upper management rather than looking at your work. Rather than helping you with training, they let you go. They form small groups to talk bad about people. Toxic environment. They backstab you afterwards. Please, STAY AWAY!

They also also threatened me with a lawsuit if I talked bad about the company.

Please, take care of employees and prioritize training over politics and gossip.
Pros
work from home
Cons
no proper training, everything is micromanaged, only a few ones benefited, the rest are thrown into a bag, bad upper management, low pay
