It's Great to work as a Retailer cause you get so many minds to chat with and this makes you go smooth in your work as you build up experience. I was flying to Moranbah where i use to work with the one and only one store TSG in front of coles and to be honest i served the first packet in that store.
Pros
You learn to be a Pro. with great customer service.
Cons

You had the occasional crackheads come in, the customers varied depending on what day, and what there was left to sell. idk lmao im just trying to fit the 150 character minimum

Pros

Cons
Long hrs
I enjoyed my time at the TSG, only left because of guaranteed full-time elsewhere.
Management were very nice and always respected your needs.
I learnt lots about tobacco and Lottery.
It was difficult at the time to keep up with weekly specials because of constant changes and not up-to-date computers.
Nice workplace, holding a great rapport with the customers, more about quality service than sales numbers. Plenty of politics and 'non-negotiable' rules, but this is to be expected, and often necessary for a large company.
The most enjoyable part of my job is the customers. Its good to have a nice chat to the regulars and even the odd passer-by. The hardest part is how it can get quite quiet, between the store not being the largest and the town itself being of moderate size. Management is easy to get along with, although not always the most helpful.
Pros
Free coffee/sandwiches.
Cons
Long hours.
typical day. serving customers, ordering stock , receiving stock, cleaning, banking, opening and closing store
