Not much to say. Was seconded immediately. Cannot comment on culture as was not there. Company is risk advserse so whether yu are staff or contractor, you only have a place as long as you have a role. More of a recruitment consultancy

Not a fun place to work

Management in Australia is not up to the standards. Employees are treated as cash cows without giving an importance to employee's needs. Lack of trust between staff and management. Staffs are fired if there is not much work around.

Productive and interesting

Contracts Adminstrator (Former Employee) - Perth cbd - 12 October 2015

Worked as a Consultant on behalf of Turner and Townsend seconded to manage the day to day running of a major contract Review Computer Management System (CMS) for questions raised by Contractor, raise or answer questions, request Change Order Requests with financial support for consideration, if deemed outside of the scope of works. Check against financial limits set within contract, increase in funds to be raised through internal process. A lot of red tape, as the systems are historical processes developed over the years by large Oil and Gas corporations, which can appear long winded and time consuming to implement. Direct contact with Turner and Townsend limited to timesheet and invoice processing for services rendered.

When new projects came in the workload was intense. Otherwise between projects it was very slow. A basically learned a software package "Candy" The management was not very good communicators and very well and assumed you knew what the requirement were and. I had to try to read between the lines. The social atmosphere with most of the work colleagues was excellent
