Sales Associate & Cashier (Former Employee) –  Chicago, IL12 May 2019
It's a fun environment to work in and the workers are friendly. It is very quick-paced just like most retail so you have to be ready to move and get things for customers

Awful new store manager
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Richmond, BC8 May 2019
The coworkers are great, however the store manager is awful. She has no idea how to do her job, and treats the employees like children, even those who know the job inside and out, who know the job better than her in fact. Do not work here getting paid like trash to work with her is not worth your time.
Pros
good coworkers
Cons
Horrible store manager, customer base, low pay

every job is what you make it. you can focus on the negative or the positive. If it's not what you are wired for it will seem negative, if you look for the good you will find it.

For young-adults/college students!
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) –  Rialto, CA23 April 2019
great entry level job for young/college students who want a job beside retail/fast food. The work is super easy, just the hours are long. The pay is good for people who don’t solely rely on paying rent, water etc. by themselves. a regular day for me was clocking in, stretching, going to my post(compliance, which is just hanging up clothes for hours), and if its a slow day, theyll send you to another department to help which was actually great because its new scenery and you meet new people for the day. overall, definitely would come back.
Pros
pay, 30 minute lunches, flexible schedule
Cons
supervisors

Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Grand Prairie, TX22 April 2019
the job itself is cool and fun to work at. As far as the Grand Prairie location, the Management team could use a makeover but the company compensates great, and they make it fun to want to work there. ONE Team ONE Dream

Worst Place to Work
Team Lead (Former Employee) –  Rialto, CA19 April 2019
Under Appreciate. Try to squeeze everything from the employee. So much new technology yet they do lots of manual work like pen and paper. To cheap to invest in employees
Cons
Lots of politics of should I say family involved

Love the people and the environment, as well as the customer base. The management style is awesome, and the way the business is run is great too. The company also does T-shirt’s for event like the holidays or armour days.

Typical Warehouse
Warehouse Teammate (Current Employee) –  Mount Juliet, TN17 April 2019
Not a horrible place to work but suffers from extreme nepotism. Employees are treated as a commodity and one's worth is only determined by efficiency numbers and of course "connections." Most management has little to no training or experience due in part to extreme nepotism and cronyism. The pay is below other warehouses in the area and retention is extremely low for most of the above-stated reasons, which management doesn't seem to care about.
Pros
Pay, Discount, Benefits
Cons
Management, Nepotism, No advancement

Footwear Lead and Sales Specialist (Current Employee) –  North Aurora, IL16 April 2019
I have worked here for over 3 years now, and I am extremely satisfied with how much support I have received from the management team. I started out as an associate, but was able to ascend to the leadership team in a rather short period of time. The opportunities presented by UA have greatly benefited my personal life, as well as my professional life.
Pros
Breaks, Flexible Schedule, Collaborative Environment
Cons
High responsibilities

Old School, Old Boys Club
Supply Chain Operations (Current Employee) –  MD9 April 2019
The leadership style and culture did not lend itself to feeling empowered to succeed or engagement from leadership above you. They leadership micro-managed each situation and there were multiple directions given to follow. To an outsider, the message was confusing and unrealistically able to be followed. Every detail of your decision or non-decision was questioned and typically discarded.

Leadership was behind on holding people accountable and tried to use a shot gun approach to managing accountability. For example, give the impression that the department personnel are "All-Stars" only to find out that there have been a decade of neglect and people turning a blind-eye to what is really going on. Then they expect you to turn it all around and fix it before your 6 month anniversary.

Met some very talented managers and supervisors who were beat down on overall morale and love for the "old company". They direction the company was moving on consolidation, staff reduction and reorganizing priorities.
Pros
The Brand Name in Baltimore; reduced discount on clothes; learned what "not to do" as a leader
Cons
Leadership style; Down Market Culture; Micro-Micro Management; Petty Managers

Great place to work. Dedicated to their employees!
Operations Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Sparrows Point, MD5 April 2019
Under Armour is a great company to work for because it is all about the teammates. There are so many resources available to its employees. Under Armour makes you feel like you are apart of a family, not just another employee. Under Armour helped me to grow as leader and is all about promoting from within. I would highly recommend working for UA.

Loving It
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Maryland2 April 2019
Under Armour is not just a team it's a family. Mostly millennials working here which is great nowadays since it's harder to find work. That also means when life happens your job is more flexible to your life problems as well as being a support system. There is upward mobility however it's a bit slower than most locations.
Pros
Discounts, 401k, Health Care
Cons
Slower Mobility, Office Gossip
