Stressful but liked the job itself

I enjoyed working there when i first started i really did but once i started to grow more within my role and got more comfortable i guess i was seen as a threat/target so i was bullied by a fellow person within my working team, in the end i was ask to leave the company which was unfair dismissal. Working with URM has since taught me to always stand my ground, be myself no matter what people think of me and if it were to happen again i will not bullies win. Ever again.

Pros

Close to shops/transport

Cons

Bullying/Salary

Good starter experience

Good typical day at work.Learn a lot of things regarding data analysis and generation of data from different system. Management is a bit aloof, not receiving enough feedback from managers

Worst place to work in the waste industrie

Old broken trucks, Poor maintenance on trucks and they are all filthy inside also everyone smokes in them so they smell bad. Supervisors are dull and have no idea what they are doing. constantly blaming all there mistakes on the driver, they have no problem sending you out in a unroadworthy truck (90% of the fleet are unroadworthy) when you tell them the problems they brush it off and never address the issue. Mechanics will not address the issues that are documented about the truck, in fact if you ask to many times if something could be looked at or fixed they just throw the truck maintenance book in the bin (seen them do it personally). Probably the most concerning aspect of working with this very poorly run company other than driving unsafe and poorly maintained trucks is the fact they never ever get you pay right. I never once was paid correctly and when the issue is addressed with management they ask you to submit the appropriate paperwork to claim for the lost wages. Once you fill out the paperwork to get back what is owed to you they never look at it and it never leaves the office (personally have witnessed this) so you never get paid correctly ever...... They have a few drivers that they look after and the rest are treated like absolute rubbish,,.. If you complain about conditions or pays you get let go...… Along with the fact there medical and drug screen at interview is a absolute joke, So end of day if you want to work somewhere that treats you like rubbish makes you drive un safe trucks and doesn't care about the fact you take drugs -

Terrible work place

The Good: Great co-workers and supervisors. The bad: Long hours if someone is a no show, or truck breaks down. The ugly: Old, second-hand trucks with excess engine hours that break down often and are sometimes unroadworthy. Management mentality is rigid and stone-aged. Money spent on spying and tracking devices, but improvements to the overall machinations are non-existent, hence high staff turnover.

Pros

Great co-workers

Cons

Too many to list

Friendly staff and great work environment.

I like the blokes I get to work with and it's good to have the early finish. You get the independence to do the job without someone constantly on your back. As long as you get the job done right, your golden. Management we're good with making sure I was trained and there was always someone around to answer my questions.

Pros

Footy Tickets!

Cons

Long hours

poor work standards

.had to have everydays workloads finished regardless of breakdown .mealtimes were denied for workload to be completed. state federal and companies own safety regulations were continously enforced to be broken by supervisors and upper management.so that they could keep contracts with councils
