If you were to leave Uniting, what would be the reason?

  • Uniting made me feel like I was not a human. The bullying was out of this world and I would never work at Uniting ever again. Would not recommend Uniting to anyone.

  • Systemic bullying from management, staff are encouraged to fight amongst themselves to distract from the bigger issues of understaffing and dangerous, neglectful work practice.

  • I was bullied by a senior worker for some time. Dli discussed it during supervision with 2 Practice Leaders and it was ignored. I was not the only one bullied by the same person. If you speak up for yourself, expect fairness for everyone and appreciation; this is not the place for you. I resigned and would rather be broke that sit back and tolerate the obvious pecking order and blatant bullying. Worst experience ever.

  • Bullying, harrasment by certain rns and home makers.
Lack of understanding for the staff, treatment of residents.

    Unacceptable

  • I was employed by Uniting for my extensive experience and couldn’t wait to resign due to the immense internal unprofessionalism, unethical management behaviours and the ‘I don’t know’ attitude.
It’s an organisation which is definitely not worth placing in your CV due to its non valued reputation.

  • I was at singleton for training, theyre great when you are there for training but when you work there part time it changes with many nurses they are very territorial and moody. They make you feel useless instead of making you feel welcome instead of helping at the beginning when just new & starting. They have NO patience for staff.

  • After I left because any permanent job came available, there was already one if them was lined up. Ad was just a formality. People were just placed with mutual arrangements.
Even after leaving, I have asked for reference. They made sure that I will not get job anywhere else. I am shocked how people can get away with all that horrible things. I teach others not be silent about discrimination, it us a criminal conduct by Australian law. Yet I had to keep quite because I could not prove it.

  • I left uniting. Low moral and bullying goes on beyond limits. Open racism. No accountability. Could not trust any one. Two faced people. They always tried to beat me down. Bunch of loonies in Canberra families and children areas.
If you are not a white race, don't go near them.

    Try hard to

    d not trust any one.

  • I left salamander bay uniting because MANAGEMENT DID NOT A THING ABOUT THE BULLIES THERE,, THEY LOSE PLENTY OF GOOD STAFF DUE TO THEM DOING SWEET FRIG ALL.... INCLUDING MYSELF

  • Salamander Bay uniting... Due to bullying, intimidation
