Use to be fun now it just stressful
Great people but this job isn’t much fun . Long days for very little reward . You are expected to do alot for little pay . The crew are great but the pay is horrible . Staff travel is a great perk you just don’t have time to use it . Rosters are hard to swap / work life balance is hard to achieve . You will make life long friends . Flight Attendant in Sydney NSW

Fun work place and collaborative.
It's what you make of it. What you put in is what you'll get out of it. No two days are same ever, you will meet people from all walks of life. Some willing to share there experiences and many who are guarded with walls, depending on your personality you will thrive at being all about safety whilst also bringing your fun loving and caring individuality. Guest Service Agent in Sydney Domestic Airport NSW

Overworked and underpaid
There is absolutely no career advancement (unless you consider moving from check-in to the service desk as advancement). Management are not qualified to lead and have their favourites who can get away with bludging while the hard workers get hammered. The company has not invested in systems so there are regular breakdowns and passengers then miss their flights. Staff are not trained to deal with disruptive days such as poor weather which causes flight delays. Just chaos of a company! No wonder they went into voluntary administration! Pretty good job for what it is, just wasn't for me
Make sure you can handle 4am starts, grumpy passengers, equipment breaking and hit/miss management. There are some perks to this role, for sure, but you have to love aviation and high pressure environments if you want to stay in this role long term. What would you say about your employer?
