Virtu, is a cutting edge company, that is doing many right things, but the management structure is holding it back. There is an overall lack of communication, and layoffs are constant.. Causes a toxic environment...

They also have a very strict non-compete.. Which makes it hard to leave...
Cons
strict non-compete.. constant layoffs

Executive Assistant (Current Employee) –  New York, NY17 August 2018
Competitive place to work. They recently acquired the company I previously worked for; so I am concerned about lay offs. Other than that it has proven to be a fair but competitive place of work
Pros
Subsidized lunches
Cons
Long hours

Management is good and firm is a good spot to develop new skills. Met many great folks working there through two mergers, and stay in contact with them.
