I learnt many new skills in terms of social skills and customer service that has effectively boosted my confidence whilst improving my everyday interactions at a professional level. My work days at Vodafone started at a gradual speed and gave me plenty of time to fit in and assort myself accordingly within the team. The supportive colleagues and exciting atmosphere made work seem much more enjoyable and comfortable. Hardest part of the job is maintaining a smooth attitude and presenting yourself appropriately to each and every customer. the most enjoyable part of the job would be the satisfaction of achieving goals and completing tasks to ensure success.
Long lunch breaks, supportive and understanding team members, location, travel time from my house.
Tiring, mentally exhausting and training is a long process.
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer's emails. Management and resolve customer complaints. Sell products and place customer orders in the computer system. Identify and escalate issues to supervisors. Provide product and service
Despite the role being retention it was essentially Sales. immediate manager was great but upper management were a nightmare. OHS concerns were extremely difficult to address. Pay was good and work/life had clear distinction.
chill out area (but no time to enjoy it really)
Awkward office space
Vodafone has a great working environment and also gives good work life balance. My manager encourages me for all the challenges. It's a good learning and training experience. there is always something different that motivates you to work more. Good Support. Good Culture. Flexible working locations, Good Benifits, Amazing Company that has given me the opportunity to meet hundreds of types of different people. Vodafone is a very nice place to work.

Talking to new people
Working in a store. We only had foot traffic in a shopping centre. A lot of online training was involved during quiet periods. We were able to enjoy our own choice in music. Fun environment and a positive culture. Hardest part of the job was knocking someone back for a contract when they did not pass the requirements needed. The most positive thing about working in a store was watching the customer leaving with a smile and satisfaction and knowing that the customer got what they were wanting.
Luches, dinners, incentives
As one of the top retail sales professionals, I sold mobile phones to customers from all backgrounds in a busy CBD location. I was always patient and courteous to all my clients and always acted in a professional manner. My role required me having an intricate knowledge of all the products we sold, including the plans we offered. My other roles included cash handling, balancing the register and opening and closing the store. During my time at the store I built and maintained strong business relationships with management and my clientele. My success and ability to easily meet targets led me to becoming one of Vodafone’s top sellers in the state of Victoria. I was also known as ‘queen of the up - sell’ in store.

Do these reviews help you learn more about working at Vodafone?
working at Vodafone can sometimes be very challenging but I guess its all part of the today's work. a typical day at the company involves providing the right information to the right customer. most phones repairs and adding new customer to the network the management was very excellent and supportive, so were the my co workers. I guess the most enjoyable part of the job was the working environment.
execellent staff and working environment
this is a hard one... well at my time there I experience nothing negative
We would serve customers all day, was always exciting specially helping people with their purchase choices and making them feel comfortable with them. I learned that excellent customer service is always good. The management was always good, they kept us on our toes and made sure we were doing our job and knew what we were doing. The co-workers were enjoyable to work with, always professional. The most enjoyable part was being able to walk around, feel comfortable in the workplace and serve customers and not feel restricted to one area,
Morning meetings, one on one meeting with manager to see how you are doing
