Great company to work with

Vodafone has a great working environment and gives good work-life balance. My manager encourages me to opt for the challenges, accept new challenges and even study in my spare time. The only demerit is a lack of job security.

Not enough hours

Hours to short People is nice as well Boss is very friendly they are very supportive They give 100% trust in the employee but they don't give us enough hours in the week. No paid for Break

An amazing job that didn't feel like a job!

As one of the top retail sales professionals, I sold mobile phones to customers from all backgrounds in a busy CBD location. I was always patient and courteous to all my clients and always acted in a professional manner. My role required me having an intricate knowledge of all the products we sold, including the plans we offered. My other roles included cash handling, balancing the register and opening and closing the store. During my time at the store I built and maintained strong business relationships with management and my clientele. My success and ability to easily meet targets led me to becoming one of Vodafone’s top sellers in the state of Victoria. I was also known as ‘queen of the up - sell’ in store.

Good while it lasted

Great place to work from 2010 to 2014 lots of changes with management... No same procedures in all stores. UN organised, different rules made up. No support at all Great rewards to staff for excelling, hard to be promoted unless your a favourite

Productive and fast paced

My role in Vodafone is very fast paced and could sometimes challenging. Co-workers are all very friendly and cooperative and we have fine team dynamics. Vodafone has taught me to prioritise my time well and how to work efficiently under pressure. The hardest part of this job is not cracking under enormous pressure which this position sometimes demands.

Perform, Deliver, Learn, Fun, Team Work

VHA has been a place where one remains motivated to perform and deliver. Team work is excellent with trust and respect among the team members. Due to having to work across several teams, it is a great place to learn cross-domain disciplines. Working hours are neither a cushy 9 to 5, nor are they harrowing long hours causing burnout.

Fun, enjoyable and

This was an enjoyable work place. I greatly enjoyed working with all my colleagues and interacting with the various customers. No two days were the same while working here. There was constantly things to learn and people to interact with. Both which i thoroughly enjoyed. I learned how to sell, upgrade and start plans for customers The managers were very supportive in teaching me about the business and bringing me up to speed on the systems used. My experience here has helped me me further my knowledge in the customer service industry as well as the the retail industry.

very positive work ethic. sales team leader and manager very pro active and helpful in sorting out day to day problems. work day started at 11am and first call at 12 noon last call was at 8.30 or 9pm

Running the store which includes setting budget, building a verbal or writing report to head office and other staff about sales performance review and encouraging staff to learn and develop products knowledge and improve customer service. Professionally use the internal Vodafone database system- SIBEL. Reasonably give the other stuff regular training on the system. Responsible for summary of store performance then reporting to Head Office, contract checking, stocks take, stock ordering and complete basic accounting job, eg, preparing banking, check the invoices from suppliers, reconciling money.
