9: Who Dares Employee Reviews

From my perspective I enjoy working at Who Dares. To a large extent I get to choose which shifts/days suit which have been most. A typical day might be to meet on site at say 5am, meet up with the rest of the team & the team leader, then have a toolbox, go through the TGS, set up the site & take up your position - it could be controlling traffic or pedestrians. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the public & the best part of the job is also dealing with the public, especially when you're standing in the street doing pedestrian control and a lady comes out of the house opposite & asks if you would like a drink or in the case of another job I was on, a man came out of the house & offered me a can of Coke - just the little things. All the people I work with are friendly and have interesting backgrounds, careers, plans, so I find its never boring talking to my colleagues. I've never had any issues with my pay - its always there with the correct hours I've worked

Pros

Varied types of traffic/pedestrian control work, the other people I work with, awesome food when on a film production set (breakfast lunch etc), different locations

Cons

For me, I can't think of any cons as such - dealing with the public comes with the job

Excellent people to work for, friendly team environment Learn new skills, all good except pay,as they work on E/A conditions,you don't get any extra pay for the weekends or public holidays,but at the moment any paying job is better then no job at all

Exciting and often challenging work environment

Positive - but you better be good at your job or do not bother

These guys are fair and tough. If you are not good at your job then frankly do not bother applying. Don't be intimidated but if you suspect you might not be 100% reliable, trustworthy, efficient and on the ball. Forget working for WD.

To work with Who Dares is fantastic. Very helpfull Team Leaders, very ethical company, well prepared people and friendly workmates. The work environment is always relaxed;well explanation always about how will be the job, fact that minize mistakes and dramas. Very professional company.
