Work as a Contractor
You are working for a company with very little support and no real sense of security. I will not recommend Wood. There is very little loyalty to their workers, to them you are only a profit centerQA/QC Inspector in APAC

Wood Group are the most toxic company I have ever worked for. The Project gets done - yes. However, getting there is another thing.
Wood Group is toxic. No doubts about it - ask the honest and genuine people who have worked for them. The management of Projects is generally without real effort to implement QA or QC. Engineering and Construction Management take little heed of ITPs and Specification requirements. Blatant disregard for quality process by Site Engineering and Management is covered up by contorted, ambiguous verbage in emails. Site Engineering lie and mis-represent. Persons who highlight deficiencies are themselves highlighted in Tool Box Talks for perceived misdemeanours that have no basis. And ...all the managers know this is happening...Engineering Consultant in Perth WA

Salary is good but except that only so much
Poor job security. They care enough for your career development and well-being. Just hire when they need and sack when they don't. They pay attractive salary when demanding is high but better to move before the demanding disappear.Engineering Intern in Melbourne VIC

Terrible company,stay away
Don't care about workers, morale doesn't exist. It's a dead end, no rewards for hard work. No career path, no training to advance skills. Management don't listen, just a bunch of dictatorial yes people.Project Engineer in Brooklyn VIC

Toxic Management
Company is full of toxic middle management all the way to the top. Undermining, back stabbing and bullying is pretty much a common occurrence from middle management and higher and has a strong theme thru the engineering team also. Blame culture. What would you say about your employer?
