fun workplace
Produce Assistant (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 19 September 2023
First ever job, was treated well. Would recommend this as a good starting job to anyone. You learn very quickly how to manage your time, you learn to manage people, you learn about life.

Good workplace
Team Member (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 23 August 2023
Good work life balance. Flexible shifts although sometimes management can pressure you to reduce your contract when running low on budget and all. Other than that, its good.

Good place to start
Team Member (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 14 August 2023
Pay is okay, good if yoi are starting off but better being casual then full time. Depends of what store you work at and what type of manager you have.

Not good
Not good (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 11 August 2023
Not great at all used to be great now it’s all about the money at any cost. Staff thrown under the bus half the time we have no staff it’s just really bad.

Part timer
Grocery Store Packer (Former Employee) - Sydney - 29 July 2023
A quick summer part-timing while on uni break. Busy during weekends, there is some room to discuss with the supervisor if needed to change shifts on emergencies.

long hours and tough Worklife balance
Night Fill Manager (Current Employee) - Sydney NSW - 25 July 2023
It's a fun job if you have the right team, otherwise it's pretty tough. Anti social hours makes it hard to have any work life balance unfortunately. Starting salary packages are decent though

Very productive and good team work
Deli Assistant (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 17 July 2023
Day to day tasks included cleaning, cooking, slicing meats and cheeses and helping customers. It was a good environment and friendly team. We had good regular customers who are a delight, but you'll always have rude ones too (which is tolerable). Team work is good, no one slacked off much. There will always be staff that gossip behind your back, but it's something you ignore and don't care about eventually. Other than that, it becomes very busy and stressful during festive seasons. But other days are so boring and quiet.

I enjoy the staff and ability to work in other departments. Have made great friends throughout my time here. Excellent job to have while at high school, and adjusted well once I reached university.

Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 22 May 2023

Okay
Bakery Assistant (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 22 May 2023
It was okay - the best part of working there was your co-workers. Management always cut hours meaning the workload was high with too few staff. Be prepared for customers to ask if the bread they watched a baker just take out of the oven, is baked fresh today.
