Woolworths Supermarket
Woolworths Supermarket Employee Review
Good workplace culture but poor management at times.
Front End Team Member (Former Employee) - Bracken Ridge QLD - 29 November 2022
Very laid back in terms of the tasks to be completed as part of your work. Expect to be called everyday being asked to fill in for other people. Inconsistent rostering for casual employees.
Pros
Staff discount
Cons
Inconsistent hours

amazing first, part time job.
Front End Team Member (Current Employee) - Burwood VIC - 9 January 2023
I started working part time at woolies since I was fifteen and have been there ever since. The work itself is pretty straightforward and fast paced but can get repetitive after a while. Management is generally pretty good and understanding when it comes to work life balance and picking up or missing shifts, however, supervisors can play favourites which becomes infuriating. The pay is average but penalty rates are great (150% on Sundays and 125% after 7PM). Coworkers are amazing and it is a great workplace to create new friends and connections. Overall a good part time or casual job.
Pros
great coworkers, amazing place to create connections
Cons
minimum wage, gets repetitive

Good place to work but very low salary for juniors
Front End Team Member (Current Employee) - Victoria - 10 October 2022
Great culture and environment but management can be pretty bad. Relaxed environment. Wages for juniors are ridiculous as a 15 year old gets half of what an adult gets, but plenty of them are far better workers.
Pros
Great environment
Cons
Bad management
