Woolworths Supermarket Employee Review

Fun workplace

A decent workplace for students or young people to grow a strong work ethic whilst also being exposed to the ins and outs of the day to day operations of a retailer.

Decent casual job, terrible long term

As a first causal job its fine, but after 2 years ot starts getting draining, pay isn’t great and no matter how much work you put in theres no opportunity to move up.

Great team, Very supportive and helpful. Upper management were proactive on the floor and always keen to lend a hand. Cant recommend working for the company enough

Enjoyable and flexible

The shifts were fairly flexible which was good in some ways however i was given loads of work during covid and then they hired a bunch of brand new people as part timers instead of offering the people that were already there and then loads of people had their shifts cut leading to not only me but many others to get new jobs. Still great culture lots of benefits, fun, management was very well regulated.

Pros

Flexiblity

Cons

Lack of shifts
