Great company with fair practices and great people.
I am impressed with Workpower. There is a great system for planning, retaining client records etc. Management are considerate and caring. Communication is good with group chats and sharing of information. A collaborative team. What's great is support workers are empowered to take the best care of their clients. Encouraged to take the lead.Customer Service Officer in Perth WA

Pay is in line with SCHADS award. Opportunities to work in other sections of the company were offered on paper, but limited in practice. The process for claiming mileage was cumbersomeField Technician in Forrestdale WA

Extremely poor communication
The job itself is really good and other day to day staff that you interact with are friendly and supportive. The Support Workers are of a really high quality. It is really frustrating dealing with management on all levels. They do not answer emails, phone calls or voice messages. Clients are leaving all the time as families are also finding it difficult to communicate with management. Managers have such a high work load they just don't have time to communicate with their support workers and the families. They are constantly hiring staff but there aren't enough hours for existing staff. They don't put a lot of thought into matching support workers with clients. Available shifts are advertised on a group message through Whats App and it is first in best dressed.Community Support Officer in Perth WA
