The coworkers made it bearable

I was underpaid for the whole two years I worked here, wasn’t even given the minimum wage pay increase each year, and was still expected to go above and beyond my job description to help out. Management liked to complain to employees about money problems, and wouldn’t listen when confronted about pay or staffing issues. Constantly short staffed because they “couldn’t afford it”. Guests were constantly rude and unhappy and employees were verbally abused on a daily basis. Every time someone wanted or needed time off management acted immature, like it was the end of the world and that we wanted the business to fail just because we had other life commitments. That said, everyone I worked with (excluding management) was absolutely lovely. Everyone was hardworking and looked out for each other, we all did our best to make each day the best we could make of it.

You get access to the pools and gym, workmates were lovely

Wouldn't rate this company at all,you are treated very well in the beginning but that doesn't last. Management are bullies no point in reporting them for the way they treat you as higher management cover up for them .

I worked Wyndham destinations in Ballarat region and my experience was 1 l'll never forget.. if you are not one of their favourites they will make your job harder as you miss out on shifts especially weekends..Being 54 years old all I wanted was to work and earn a living but they made it so hard for me that I nearly had a nervous breakdown.. honest to God..Then I left..

you need to be on the same side as your managers otherwise it will be hard for you to succeed in the business. understand that change is inevitable and have to be easy for you to adjust straight away you need to get your managers to see the best in you and give you all the opportunities that you believe you deserve to also have a fair shot of the opportunities.

One day to the next could look very different, must learn to be patient and upskill yourself correctly in your down time. The hardest part of the job was not hitting the bonus levels and the sales that fell through, was tough to handle!

Fun and great place to work - Was placed on a 6 month contract and was unfortunately not given the opportunity to have this extended. Attempted to drop to Part-Time to persue Study but no flexibility to accommodate this. Fantastic training program and encouraging support and motivational management team.

poor poor management

worked at ramada hope harbour was put off because of conflict with too many family members working there one girl had been there same age as me 6 yrs jody made my job horrible all because she wasnt pointed as bar manager when i spoke to management about it i was put off.was on salary of 38hrs was doing about 46hrs which is all good but they tried not to pay me overtime but fair work made them so any employees that have worked there overtime just letting you know you can get your overtime i got mine will never work for wyndam again .
